Blocking Off Time or Recurring Blocked Time not easy to do

I would love to block certain times off in the schedule and be able to block on a weekly basis until a certain date or indefinitely. I don’t really want to block off entire days, but that is easier that blocking certain times on a recurring basis - I have to do each day - that is difficult. I did see that I can change service windows, I suppose I could reduce the amount of bookings during that time, but there should be more of a master way to affect future days, etc. I think I see another person posted the same kind of feature I am requesting as well. Anything to make the scheduling robust and easy to use in different ways would really help! Thanks!
