Scritches Roadmap

Goal: As a provider, I want to define and enforce a clear cancellation policy so clients understand expectations, cancellations are handled consistently, and billing is automated instead of relying on manual notes. Scope:<ul><li>Ability for providers to create a cancellation policy with flexible rules (e.g., “Free cancel up to 24 hours before start time”, “50 percent charge inside 24 hours”, “Full charge inside 6 hours”).</li><li>Display the cancellation policy publicly<ul><li>Shown on the online booking page, confirmation emails, and client portal views</li></ul></li><li>Automated billing for cancellations<ul><li>When a booking is cancelled, automatically generate the correct charge or fee based on the policy</li><li>Add the charge to the invoice (or generate a new invoice if none exists)</li></ul></li></ul>Stretch goal: Allow clients to cancel bookings online according to the policy<ul><li>The system verifies whether they fall inside or outside penalty windows. Branding Expansion

Hi Lucas, I’ve mentioned this before but would like to reiterate how important of a feature this would be for me! While I could edit and message my clients about a surcharge when their bookings exceed 24 hours (this is for overnight boarding), I believe it doesn’t foster great rapport. I’ve noticed an uptick in bookings that span over 24 hours when it wasn’t the case when I was using Rover and it was clear for people they’d be charged extra for extended care.I believe in being compensated fairly and being transparent about pricing, and truly think this is an necessary add to the booking system!Thanks!

This looks great so far but I would need to be able to capture more information from/about my clients ie multiple dog names, birthdays, behavior notes, etc). Hi Lucas,In the services section, I like that there is a dollar fee here, but is it possible to add an option for a percentage as well? I may be just weird, but I calculate my holiday fees on a percentage scale, rather than a specific dollar amount - this way, it is more fair across the board regardless of whether they are paying for a $15.00 service or a $200.00 service. And, I would like to do the same for my additional pet fees as well.Also, is it possible to be able to re-name the additional pet fee? It says “Pet 2”, but I include the first two pets in the service price, not charging extra until pet 3. I was thinking it might be nice if we could change the title for those of us who don’t always charge per pet?

For some reason today I am not able to scroll with my thumb anywhere on the page when I am creating a report card, I can only scroll by using the bar on the side. Can you fix this? Thanks!

I have a client with two dogs and two cats set for a four-night stay. Base rate is $70, additional dogs are $35, and additional cats are $5, so it should be $115 per night (70 + 35 + 5 + 5) and the total should be $460, but the invoice calculates at $440 ($110 per night). Am I missing something, or is it not calculating the second cat?
