Calendar Sync Options/Settings | Frustrated!

I do not like the way the calendar syncs on to my iPhone and I’m sure I am not the only one.

I only do daycare and boarding so having the service location (my own house) come through with every event is redundant, cluttered and a waste of space when looking at the day.
When clicking in to an event to edit it, like when a client asks for an earlier/later appointment time, I am increasingly frustrated with what seems to be the default time zone. The event will show on my calendar at the correct time zone time but when I go to edit the event then I am editing the incorrect time zone time and have to do the math to add or subtract an hour or two. This has left me embarrassed by fiddling with my phone when clients ask in person and I get frustrated so I just make a new event on my phone instead.

Can we PLEASE have settings where we can turn off the location that comes through if we want and where we can set time zones correctly so this will stop?

I have checked my Google Calendar sync settings and set it to my time zone and I have also set my iPhone calendar settings to have a time zone override but neither of those has changed this. If there is something else I am missing please advise.
