Users want the ability to track their walks using GPS within the Scritches app, allowing them to record routes, distance, and time.

    Hey there! I definitely agree that this would be a great and useful feature to have, especially for all those on-the-go dog walkers! However, since Scritches is currently only browser-based, it becomes a bit of a tough nut to crack from a technical perspective without the presence of a mobile app.

    I hope to build a mobile app as soon as I can, but this depends mostly on Scritches’ growth, as a project like this is a large investment of time & resources.

      Any chance it could connect to something like Strava or Garmin and import walks from there?

        @Autumn Welles Love this idea. I’m honestly surprised I didn’t think of it sooner. Strava would probably be the best place to start, and I think the user experience could still feel pretty clean even through a third-party integration. And honestly, Strava’s GPS tracking is far more accurate and battle-tested than anything I could build myself.

        I’ll start thinking where this can fit into the roadmap.
