I'm restructuring my business model to work with independent contractor sitters, similar to how Rover and Wag operate. Right now, pricing in Scritches is set with sitters earning either a fixed amount or a percentage of the current set price. Which is great, but not for a contractor model.
What I'd love to see is the ability for each sitter to set and adjust their own rate per service with the ability to configure a commission percentage on top of whatever that sitter charges. That way the price shown to clients reflects what the individual sitter is actually charging, not a fixed rate. Closer to a marketplace set up.
I think this would be a great fit for other small agencies on Scritches who are moving toward a contractor model rather than W2 staff setup (US based, idk how it works in other areas).
As always, thank you for all that you do! Every time I use Scritches, it just gets better and better and I feel like we’re really being heard :)
