Looking for software engineers?

Feedback

Hello, I stumbled across your app while looking for exactly this kind of feature for my own personal use (I am a Rover sitter) and I absolutely love what I’m seeing! I am a former kennel technician and a current apprentice software engineer and one of my primary motivations for moving into the SWE field was my frustration at the lack of intuitive, thoughtfully designed pet care apps. I actually ended up creating a kennel management app for one of my apprenticeship projects, although something like Scritches was also on my list of ideas. I’m thrilled to find it already exists! As my apprenticeship is coming to an end, I have been looking for my first full role as an engineer. Are you currently looking for anyone to add to your team?

Hey @Thane Wilson ! Thanks so much for your kind words! I really appreciate your enthusiasm and love hearing that Scritches is solving a pain point you’ve experienced firsthand. That’s exactly why I built it!

Right now, I’m just a solo founder and not in a position to hire. Fingers crossed one day I will be, and I’ll let ya know. I know firsthand the software engineering job search can be a grind, so keep at it, and best of luck!
