I would like to receive push notifications to stay updated on new bookings and other important activities within my Scritches account. This would help me manage my schedule more effectively and respond to clients faster.
Hey @Dasia C. ! Thanks for the suggestion. I totally get why push notifications would be useful, but unfortunately, they’re not something I can support right now. True push notifications really only work well if you have a native mobile app. The web-based versions are unreliable, vary by device, and often get blocked or delayed. It ends up being a pretty bad experience, so I don’t want to ship something that feels half-baked.
For now, email notifications are fully in place, and I’m happy to add more of them if there are specific moments you want alerts for.
I’m also planning to add SMS notifications once I roll out the messaging updates. Those will be instant and will basically serve the same purpose as push notifications, just more dependable.
