Payment options

I would love the option to select multiple payment options when sending an invoice. Or maybe an automatic setting where it just sends all of them.

Just released a change for this! This update includes:

    • Selecting multiple payment methods when sending an invoice (defaults to including all payment methods you have enabled)

    • Easier sending of deposits/payment requests/receipts via texting/messaging app

    • Displaying payment options on the client invoice page (as opposed to solely in the email)

    • Lots of UI/UX tweaks in invoicing

This should allow for much more flexibility when requesting payments from clients! 🎉

@kkreuzer31 This would definitely be great to have! I’ve had a few requests for this now, so I’ll try to squeeze it out in between larger feature work

Also, an option to text an invoice vs email.

Totally get this one too. I am actually starting to scope out a fully featured Messaging Center (with 2-way + mass email/sms sending). This will fundamentally change the experience of a lot of these client communications, so I want to hold off on improving these areas to avoid putting effort into changes that will soon be replaced.

How I’d recommend texting a draft invoice in the meantime:
Make sure it’s out of draft status:
Invoice details page > Corner dropdown > Move to Unpaid (publish) button
Then, you can text the client link via a messenger app, either by copying the client link or going to the client page and clicking the “Share” button.

With the payment options update described above, I’ll also be embedding payment method descriptions into the client page, so it’s not only email-based.

Great, that’s a nice work around thanks!
