Native Mobile App with Push Notifications for Booking Requests
I want a native mobile app that provides push notifications on my phone whenever I receive a new booking request. This would be much more convenient than checking email or the web app manually.
A mobile app for (at least) the client portal would be so amazing. A lot of my existing clients I’m trying to transfer over from Rover like the ease of booking from an application. The process of saving the website as a shortcut is overwhelming for my clients who work long hours or have little kids, and some who aren’t so technically literate find it difficult. I’m afraid this will get in the way of my ability to retain clients as I switch over from Rover.

Hey @Elayna Swift ! Totally understand the friction here, it’s hard to beat the app experience simplicity/muscle memory, especially for non-technical oriented clients.
Mobile apps are definitely on the radar, for the reason you listed, and many others. The goal right now is to nail down some more core workflow features (client rates, recurring bookings, staff management, etc.) before expanding to this.
For now, it may also be worth experimenting with making your portal as accessible as possible if the app shortcut route isn’t landing well. Many users have success with linking directly to it on their website. e.g. a New Clients button (linking to booking page), and an Existing Clients button (linking to portal) in the header/footer.
