Hi Scritches Team,
Firstly, I just wanted to say I'm really enjoying setting up my business on Scritches. It's a fantastic platform, and I'm really impressed with how much thought has gone into it.
I had a couple of feature suggestions that I think would be really useful for service-based pet care businesses. I am currently migrating from Pet Sitter Plus and have recognised a couple of items that the system would benefit from.
1. Booking Update Questions
It would be great if there was an option to assign a short questionnaire to individual booking types that clients complete when making a booking (or optionally for every booking).
For example:
Has anything changed since your last booking?
Any changes to your pet's health or medication?
Any changes to access arrangements?
Is there anything else we should know for this visit?
The existing intake forms work brilliantly for gathering permanent information, but this would help collect booking-specific updates without asking clients to complete another full intake form.
2. Service-Specific Booking Times
I'd also love the ability to choose how appointment times are booked depending on the service.
For example:
Dog Walks / Drop-ins: Clients select a preferred time window (e.g. Morning, Midday, Afternoon) rather than an exact appointment time.
Meet & Greets, Grooming, Wedding Chaperone Consultations: Clients book an exact appointment time.
Many pet care businesses work within flexible time windows for regular services but need precise appointment times for consultations and meetings, so having this configurable on a per-service basis would make the booking process much more accurate and flexible.
Thanks again for all the work you're putting into Scritches. I'm really looking forward to using it as my business grows!
